Jesus is the Son of God.

He is an historical person, and the object of faith of millions of Christians, all over the world.

In the New Testament it says,

  • "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life."

What did Jesus's eye witnesses know he was? The MESSIAH and a PROPHET:

  • John 1:41: -- "The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, "We have found the Messiah" (that is, the Christ)."

  • John 1:49: -- "Then Nathanael declared, "Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel."

  • Mark 8:29: -- "But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?" Peter answered, "You are the Christ."

  • John 6:69: -- "We believe and know that you are the Holy One of God."

  • Matthew 16:16: --"Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

  • Luke 9:20: -- "But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?" Peter answered, "The Christ of God."
